The Student Conduct Review Board (SCRB) is a group of UCI students, staff, and faculty who are trained to hear cases involving alleged misconduct of students. To be a member of the Student Conduct Review Board, you will be asked to attend comprehensive training sessions before you will be eligible to serve. The training session will cover topics such as conduct hearing procedures and protocol, university due process requirements, and other information that should help to prepare you for a hearing.

Expectations of All Student Conduct Board Members
These are expected of all students on the Student Conduct Review Board:
- You must be a full-time student with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
- You must be a student in good disciplinary standing with the university during application and service on board. Note: Students who have been suspended from UCI for academic or social misconduct are not eligible to serve on the board.
- You must maintain good relations with faculty, university officials, and peers.
- You must abide by the UCI Student Conduct policies and all state and federal laws.
- You must attend training sessions, in-service trainings, and hearing dates for which you are scheduled to serve.
- You must have the ability to maintain objectivity when hearing diverse viewpoints.
- You must respond to requests to schedule hearings and serve on hearings when assigned.
- You must familiarize yourself with UCI Student Conduct policies and procedures.
- You must maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding all proceedings of the board’s hearings.
Hearings are held over Zoom. The number of hearings per quarter per board member ranges and is based on student requests. The average is 0-3 hearings per quarter for all board members.
All students wishing to serve on the Student Conduct Review Board must complete all forms for their application to be considered. By applying for this position, you are indicating you have read and understood the responsibilities and agree to abide by the guidelines as a minimum requirement of the Student Conduct Review Board.
